Soup for Supper

This miso soup I made for supper tonight looked so nice I decided to post the picture. Made from two flavors of miso, buckwheat soba noodles, tempeh, green onions, mushrooms, kale, spinach, and seasoning (garlic powder, garam masala, etc.). Delicious.

  1. I need to get some more miso. Does Trader Joe's have it for a good price? I'm thinking about making a trip up there and visit family and TJs!

  2. Yum, looks delicious...I'm definitly a veggie soup girl! Sometimes, though, I make it so thick it looks more like a goulash (my dad always liked that word)...have really been into brown rice instead of noodles/pasta, these days, along with adding black beans and tomato. After putting the soup in a bowl, my favorite thing to do is pour a little olive oil on the top, then grind and add my favorite TJ's spice, "Everyday Seasoning," which comes in it's own grinder (turn it upside down with the snap lid on to catch what you have freshly ground...so it doesn't get steamed up!). Jennifer may like to pick some up when she visits ;D. Anyway, your soup made me think of my soup ;D ...Blessings, P.
