USA Today sports columnist Christine Brennan reported something telling in
her column today. It has to do with Tim Tebow, the Heisman-winning quarterback of the BCS national champion Florida Gators. All America saw the "John 3:16" he had printed on his eye-black during the game. But apparently a lot of people had no idea what it meant. Brennan reported that for a while during the game, "John 3:16" was the most-looked-up item on Google. It's been said for several decades, and is apparently proved, that America is a post-Christian nation. Or at least no longer biblically literate. Who can argue with Google?
